last week, my oldest son (nathan; that's him on the right) graduated from high school. while i'm excited and proud (and i still have three more at home, including a rising first grader), i'm feeling a little nostalgic for some earlier days, and this image, taken at avila beach on the central coast of california, sort of says it for me. it's a very special place.
